Ashley Tisdale: Tisdale was soon cast as Sharpay Evans in Disney Channel Original Movie High School Musical. Producers did not initially consider her for the role because of her goodgirl image on The Suite Life. Tisdales role required her to perform several songs on the soundtrack, including What Ive Been Looking For, Bop to the Top, and Were All in This Together. All of the songs charted on the Billboard Hot 100. Tisdale made music history by becoming the first female artist ever to debut with two songs simultaneously on the Hot 100 with What Ive Been Looking For and Bop to the Top. The soundtrack, in which Tisdale sings lead vocals on several songs, became the topselling album of 2006. Tisdale appeared in the two episodes of MTVs Punkd and in the Disney Channel Games 2006.
